George Kirkman, Jr., distributions completed in 1824: Each heir was given approximately 23 acres and some cash; disposing of 206 acres. The executor was Leven Kirkman Sr., son. The Heirs: William, Anne Kirkman Wood, Mary Kirkman Furgeson, Peter, heirs of Sarah Kirkman Jackson (residing in Harrison County, Indiana), Thomas, George, Daniel Sulivane, Martha Kirkman Adams (eldest daughter). Neighbors who had charge of the land distribution were John Landreth, Vincent X. Russum, Lemar X. Landreth, William Hodson, James Neely. (The George was III., whose father George, was deceased.)
This extract is from the Kirkman Family Record. I'm not sure who wrote the history.
Deed(Book 18, page 455, dated 16 Jan 1828 states
Robert Wood and Anna his wife of the County of Carroll and state of Tennessee to Shannon Wiley part of the lands owned by George Kirkman decd and laid off for said Robert Wood and Anna his wife in the division of said lands as appears from two commissioners reports on record for said county this being laid off for the legatees which was Lot No. 2 ... [that's all I copied]

Information on this family taken from Scott Co Il 1850 census. Orein's name has a question mark, as if the handwriting was illegible. Family Treemaker's site has refernces for Orin and Orrin McFall in NY and IL. The last 2 children's ages are listed as 9 mo and 6 mo. One of these probably is from a different family?
Margaret may be a second wife but seems too young to be mother of all. Scott Co marriage book does not list an Orein McFall marriage. There is an Orrin Fall marriage which fits with the census data. There are only 2 McFall marriages in Scott Co., Susan to John Fulks and an unknown Pamelia McFall to Ebenezer Abbey on 2/1/1842. This would seem to indicate that the McFall family left Scott Co some time after 1850. Susan was first married in 1848 and was probably already widowed at the time of the 1850 census. One of the babies may have been hers. Or perhaps the baby Ebenezer is the son of Pamelia and Ebenezer Abbey.

Robert and Susan were found in the Scott Co 1860 census, but not in Scott Co. 1870.
Susan is found as a widow in the Scott Co 1880 census living with her son Nelson age 24 in Township 14, Range 14 Household 51/51. She remarried later in that year.
